Core Drilling

Core Drilling, simply stated, is the drilling of round holes through concrete, brick, masonry, stone, and asphalt. Northwoods Concrete Cutting, LLC uses water when core drilling so there is no dust, and I can easily contain and clean up the “slurry” that is produced in the core drilling process.

Examples of where core drilling would be utilized are: core drilling holes for sewer pipes and plumbing pipes; core drilling holes for electrical conduits; installing drains and sampling the condition of concrete require core drilling: installing posts and signs; core drilling holes for the installation of bollards to protect door jambs and machinery from forklift and truck traffic. I have drilled holes as deep as 30 feet and as big around as 36 inches in diameter.
